Senior BI Analyst 

Location: Newmarket

Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 + excellent benefits

(Hybrid- 2-3 days on site)

A leading and rapidly expanding business just off the A14 are seeking to recruit an experienced BI and Data Analyst in a newly created role. 

Business Systems & Support

o Develop and maintain SQL solutions within the scope and business requirements.

o Engage with key stakeholders and other members of the IT team as needed to gather requirements and create Microsoft Power BI reports.

o Manage and maintain existing Microsoft PowerBI reports.

o Where possible, automate manual tasks to increase efficiency and productivity, focusing on saving time and reducing manual errors.

o Use ETL tools such as SSIS and SSRS to automate manual processes and enhance our data capabilities

o Support all users with issues of the business systems, liaising where necessary with third-party support, & other members of the IT team.

Development Responsibilities

o Create high-quality, reusable SQL server procedures, triggers, scripts, views, databases, and related SQL-based components to support the effective delivery

o Ensure that all SQL developments comply with company standards and quality frameworks. Where no standard exists, assist with the definition and implementation of the new standard.

o Create appropriate documentation for SQL development solutions to allow for understanding and maintenance by others within the team.

o Provide support to the business applications systems as needed in conjunction with the other areas of the IT Team.

o Develop Microsoft Power BI reports based on requirements gathered from the business.

Experience required:

SQL

PowerBI 

At least 2 years in data analysis and reporting

Good communication skills The position works with an amazing team with a clear route for progression and development
