Our client is a highly successful, financially secure manufacturing company who are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy team.
A hands on, on premise, technical role, the individual will be the tasked with implementing infrastructure improvements across a number of locations in the UK. Reporting directly in the Group IT Manager, this role is pivotal in transforming a traditional IT environment into a hybrid environment allowing for synergies where appropriate across group companies. As always there is an element of user support, this will be in the form of escalation from the on-site support team.
The successful applicant will require at least 5 years support experience at a suitable level with a number of the following technologies:
* Windows Server administration
* Office 365
* Dell server and storage
* Checkpoint Firewall
* VmWare
* Veam
* Azure
* Layer 3 networking
* Cyber Security and technology deployed SME levels
* Infrastructue Projects
* Mitel phone systems
