The Business Consultant has accountability for Supply Chain solutions focusing on Strategic and Operational Procurement Systems. They define, deliver, review, and approve changes to improve applications. They understand application functionality and processes to support stakeholders. They have expertise in their application area, oversee and evaluate new solutions, recommend implementation of changes, and drive continuous improvements.
ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities:Demand & Portfolio Management: - Lead contact and co-pilot for business demands in sub-domain
- End-to-end responsibility for projects, services, and maintenance
- Align and prioritize demands with business along value and IT architecture & roadmap
- Understand business needs, conduct requirements analysis, and prepare project proposals.
- Plan, lead and support projects aligned with IT project management guideline.
Applications & Roadmap Management: - IT product owner to manage application various process changes & developments
- Drive innovation, explore and propose new solutions based on needs or trends
- Focus on process improvements through automation.
Service Design & Delivery: - End-to-End responsibility for owned product related services
- Continuous improvements in processes, products, and services
- Lead and collaborate with IT teams to accelerate solutions.
RequirementsEducational experience: - Certified graduates or postgraduates are preferred.
Business Experience: - Must have at least 4 years of experience in the areas of Strategic and Operational Procurement related tools such as SAP Material Management (SAP Material Management), Inventory management, Jaggaer or other relevant Procurement Solutions.
- Must have good knowledge of (Advanced business application programming) ABAP/4 and experiences in development
- Experience as an IT Product Owner or Application Owner to lead and provide solutions based on business needs
- Must have functional consulting experience in application implementation (SAP Supply Chain & Operations)
- Certification in project management is desirable (e.g., SCRUM, Project Portfolio Management)
