ICT is a people business! We are looking for an excellent communicator who is fired up by technology to join our imaginative and motivated team. We need a Business Systems Assistant or Officer, who’s going to learn new skills, and pass them on to our front-line teams.
What you will be doing
We have a load of systems to manage our busy organisation. Our users are often not aware of what the systems can do to make their jobs easier and more efficient, so we need someone to help them.
You’ll be a champion of our Housing Management System (HMS), and the other applications we use, and you’ll demonstrate that to others, and help them solve problems.
Acting as the main point of contact for any HMS developments or support requests, you will take ownership of the system and work with the wider IT Team to make improvements or fix issues.
Your communication skills need to be not only first class, but adaptable. You’ll be helping a plumber out one minute, and a Director the next. You’ll be sitting with managers to design new processes, suggesting improvements and driving change.
About you
We are looking for a confident and customer focused individual with strong communications skills and the ability to take ownership and responsibility for customer incidents and requests, being able to convey technical information in a customer friendly way. You’ll be about to think in a logical way, and have the creativity to come up with new ideas.
As a people business it’s essential we get the right person in this role, so we want to make this role accessible to a wide range of applicants, with diverse backgrounds. The role is available as either an officer level, or at an assistant level, where we’ll support you to reach an officer role within 2 years.
Please look at the job descriptions and let us know in your application where you fit. If you aren’t sure get in touch.
