Acorn by Synergie is working with a world leader in marine technology, our innovative client is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design and development of monitoring systems and products for use within the industry.

The Software Engineer will support the design and development of software systems for industrial visual monitoring products. The visual systems are primarily based on Linux-based hardware that employs industry-standard network protocols, with user interface and control for the visual monitoring system facilitated using .NET (all versions) technologies from Microsoft.

Essential experience required:

Experience of C# and MS SQL (T SQL, Stored Procedures etc)

Good working knowledge of .NET Core / Entity Framework/ EF Core

WEB Api and use of tools like Postman / Swagger

Front end development and framework experience - ASP.NET MVC, React/Angular

JavaScript/jQuery/Typescript, CSS/SASS

Version and revision control products (Git, BitBucket, SVN)

Key duties:

Design, development, testing and documentation of applications and system software primarily for configuration of company's range of industrial monitoring products

Retrieval of data from industrial monitoring products, analysis, and visualization

Working with designs to produce scalable, robust, and reusable code

Analysing and correcting software deficiencies and coding faults
