Lead JavaScript Consultant - Hybrid (2 days) - Birmingham

We have recently partnered with an award-winning IT Consultancy firm focusing on the creation of tailormade enterprise software applications is looking for a Lead JavaScript Consultant. Their current focus is backed with heavy investment in Cloud and AI on platforms such Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle. You the Lead JavaScript Consultant will work through all phases of the SDLC from design, through development, into delivery and post-live support. This role comes with the flexibility of working on a hybrid basis, ample opportunities for both vertical and horizontal growth.

As the Lead JavaScript Consultant, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design through development, into delivery, and post-live support. The overriding priority will be the initial engagements with new clients. You as the Lead JavaScript Consultant will shape the future technical direction, embedding quality, and best practices throughout the development process.

As the Lead JavaScript Consultant, you will be building complex products with interesting problems around UX, architecture and scaling, thus meaning that this position is critical. You as the Lead JavaScript Consultant will be included in key meetings and will still have a development focus in your role.

Requirements:

Min of 5+ years' experience in consulting experience in JavaScript Development.

Working knowledge or experience with:

Development consulting experience

Client engagement and stakeholder management.

Leading projects.

End-to-end SDLC experience

JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, UI Design, Microservices, RESTful Api, testing tools.

Technical development, architecture and code quality for our JavaScript projects.

Note. The level is slightly flexible so if you're slightly less or more experienced as an Lead JavaScript Consultant please do reach out.

Salary - up to £90,000 + bonus

Location - Birmingham - hybrid (2 days).

Duration - Permanent.
