NodeJS Developer - Hybrid (2 days) - Birmingham

We have recently partnered with an award-winning IT Consultancy firm focusing on the creation of tailormade enterprise software applications is looking for a NodeJS Developer. Their current focus is backed with heavy investment in Cloud and AI on platforms such Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle. You the NodeJS Developer will develop cutting-edge web applications handling complex data models and delivering advanced user interfaces. This role comes with the flexibility of working on a hybrid basis, ample opportunities for both vertical and horizontal growth.

As the NodeJS Developer, you must adeptly navigate key concepts like component composition, state management, and asynchronous programming in highly scaled software engineering environments spanning diverse domains. You as the NodeJS Developer will be responsible for development, QA, design, planning, mentoring, continuous improvement, and release management.

As the NodeJS Developer, you will lead the implementation of features across architecture layers, ensuring adherence to standards. You as the NodeJS Developer conduct code reviews, engage in pair programming, ensure CI, and ensure successful deployment. As the NodeJS Developer produce designs, including API specifications, use case models, component diagrams, and data models.

Requirements:

Min of 5+ years' experience in development experience in with a focus on NodeJS, JS/TS.

Working knowledge or experience with:

Development consulting experience a bonus.

End-to-end SDLC experience

NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Microservices, RESTful Api, Jest, Cypress, AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.

QA, design, planning, mentoring, continuous improvement, and release managementNote. The level is slightly flexible so if you're slightly less or more experienced as an NodeJS Developer please do reach out.

Salary - up to £70,000 + bonus

Location - Birmingham - hybrid (2 days).

Duration - Permanent.
