Service Engineer

Company Overview:

Our client supply, install and maintain equipment throughout the UK using proprietary in-house software. They are a fast growing, dynamic business offering growth and a good future for all employees. 

Great for someone who has a network/telcomms background 

Duties:

One-point sensor checks

Site surveys to assess requirements for installation

Install and maintain transmitters including but not limited to ULT (Ultra low freezer),Incubators,Freezers,Fridges,Liquid nitrogen (dewars and tanks)

Install and maintain the infrastructure equipment (radio frequency) of LAN receivers,GPRS receiver and Repeaters

Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on existing systems

Battery changes and other service related elements on sensors

Installation, commissioning, demonstrating and training of products and services at client sites

Complete Job sheets and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Travel to client’s site with the potential for overnight stays on occasion

You will need the following qualities:

Good time keeping

Desire to do things correctly, not cut corners

Adhere to good working practice 

Maintain a good working relationship with clients

A basic understanding of networks would be desirable although not essential

A telecoms background would be useful although not essential

Friendly and approachable disposition

Good communication skills with the client and colleagues

Hours

Monday-Friday

8:30am-17:30pm
