Our prestigious client in Worcester is seeking an IT Manager to join their team in an initial standalone role as they look to build out their internal capabilities.
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and management of their IT infrastructure and systems. This is a hands-on technical role where you will ensure all staff has adequate IT provision to meet their needs, maintaining excellent service levels through effective prioritisation and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing daily IT support requests and issues, ensuring excellent customer service
Monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading core infrastructure including servers, networks, systems
Diagnosing and resolving technical faults and problems
Working collaboratively with our onsite IT engineer
Driving strategic IT planning, budgeting and management alongside SLT
Delivering projects to improve IT services and systems
Ensuring robust IT security, data protection and compliance What experience do you need as an IT Manager?
Proven experience managing and developing IT support services, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Supervisory and team leadership abilities
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management methodologies
Office 365, Azure, Windows Server
Virtualisation (VMware)
SAN technologies
Citrix XenDesktop, NetScaler
