Job Title: Programme Planner

Duration: 6 months (initial)

Daily Rate: £550.00 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Remote (occasional travel within the UK in Birmingham & London etc.)

One of our major clients in the logistics space is looking to recruit an experienced Programme Planner to join their team for an initial 6 months.

Skills & Experience:

Jira expertise, Jira Align and other Planning software experience.

Competent Planner, demonstrated ability to organise and structure complex plans.

Previously worked in highly complex environment, spanning agile and traditional PM plans.

Experience working in a Digital and Traditional PM environment.

Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Hybrid roles; experience in bringing together plans from different domains.

Reporting out of planning; strong skills in generating reports from planning tools.

Personable and good business / stakeholder engagement .

Responsibilities:

Undertake initial discover work with Programme Management Director.

Update and refine Statement of Work (SoW) as agreed with business.

Act as Admin for the Jira project and Construct, optimise and maintain programme plans.

Ensure all inputs and hygiene factors required in Jira to build an accurate programme roadmap and timeline of activities are sufficiently complete.

Build network and capabilities in Digital and Supply Chain teams in general project management best practices and the usage and adoption of Jira & Jira Align.

Facilitate quarterly planning preparation for the programme.

Provide recommendations for local project and product management capabilities within specific teams.

Document and prepare for the handover of any outputs delivered as part of  SoW
