Service Desk Technician
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Based in Borehamwood
The role involves resolving complex problems affecting use of ICT systems to maintain underlying business processes; ensuring all problems are solved or channelled to the appropriate support function. It will also include operation of the Service Desk, running computerised processes, and providing administrative support for the team.
Three years' experience of providing technical support in a networked PC environment
Experience of using remote access support tools
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows and Office
Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objectives and VBS scripting.
Knowledge of Political and Democratic context in which the Council operates
