The Role Responsibilities Business Analyst is responsible for defining scope, analysing and developing process, data and analytical models, eliciting and documenting requirements, identifying solutions and verifying that they meet requirements and supporting development activities.
- Work with the business users/product owner and capture business requirements accurately, comprehensively and without ambiguity, facilitate traceability and in harmony with existing application functionalities
- Requirements Analysis and Design Definition: Needs to have good attention to detail and describe the tasks used to organize requirements, specify and model requirements and designs, validate and verify information, identify solution options, and estimate the potential value that could be realized.
- Solution Evaluation: Should be able to describe the tasks used to assess the performance of and value delivered by a solution and to recommend improvements on increasing values in the functions.
- Hands-on experience in requirements life cycle management in banking and financial domain. Should be able to manage requirements from inception to implementation.
- Well-versed in elicitation and multi-team collaboration at global level. Highly skilled in defining the scope as well as describing the tasks related to the scope.
- Co-ordinate amongst internal and business stakeholders to review and obtain business signoff for the project cost, plan, specifications etc.
- Ensure gaps in deliverables are identified early and addressed effectively
- Strategy Analysis and Stakeholder Management - Candidate to possess' skills to identify the business needs, address those needs, and align the change strategy with the Bank.
- Work with delivery and project services organizations as well as other technology and vendor organizations in ensuring requirements are transformed into effective solutions with-in cost, schedule and quality - adhering to the bank's standards, guidelines and policies
- Involve in high level technical design / implementation discussions and contribute
- Assist development, testing and support teams by providing them business focus and ensure issues are thoroughly analysed and taken to closure
Risk Management - Identify and manage risks proactively across the project and utilize the right forums effectively to escalate them as appropriate

Our Ideal Candidate - Bachelors / Masters in relevant qualification with seven to ten years in the financial services banking industry as an IT business analyst.
Role Specific Technical Competencies - Communications and interpersonal skills, including facilitation techniques
- Ability to think and act strategically across a wide range of business situations
- Analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Agile Delivery mechanism
- Familiar with formal development methodologies and testing processes
