The Credit Intake Business Analyst role is an intermediate-level position responsible for intake process for credit & collateral platforms for Private Bank Asia region. The incumbent is required to engage and work with various global and regional businesses, operations and internal / external technology partners to deliver against objectives. The incumbent is expected to work independently with minimum supervision and drive the analysis and solutioning of credit programs by collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for credit intake and solutioning of Private Bank Credit & collateral projects to Asia stakeholders.
- Partner with sponsors / stakeholders and manage the technology solutions from project conception through implementation.
- Consult with business users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
- Develop / Assist business in detailing end-to-end requirements (BRD, EPICs, user stories), lead the grooming sessions and document the requirements and / or technology changes.
- Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
- Maintain product system process flows, act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Participate in business workshops, represent technology in business / cross sector forums.
- Actively maintain the credit BOW and provide regular management updates on ongoing projects
- Track business adoption, provide system training to stakeholders
- Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:- A graduate with 7+ Business Analysis or relevant experience in a Lending / Credit / Collateral / Risk domains
- Sound knowledge in Credit undertaking, facility management, collateral management with relevant prior experience in delivering solutions
- Demonstrate ability to operate in matrix environment across business / functional / regional teams
- Demonstrate ability to analyze complex problems, propose workable solutions and implement corrective actions in all situations.
- Excellent negotiation skills, ability to influence outcomes without direct managerial responsibility.
- Demonstrate experience and strength in operating effectively within the organization, including stakeholder management to deliver the objectives
- Self-motivated and directed, proactive and action-oriented, must demonstrate personal accountability. Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills; strong oral and written communication skills including presentation development and delivery.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and demanding environment is essential
