As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase with RISK TECHNOLOGY Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Able to drive and develop scalable and resilient software solutions using wide range of technology stack and tool set
Execute software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years of hands-on experience in develop and deliver software solutions as a full stack developer
3+ years of experience in software designing and collaboration with architecture team
Good experience in working in build and deploy pipelines using Jules, Spinnaker tools
In depth knowledge of middleware technologies, microservices based architecture and Java programming along with system design skills
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Experience in framework development with product mindset and right use of data structures as well as enterprise integration patterns
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Willingness to learn and explore other cutting edge technologies relevant for the product development
Exposure to banking/financial domain especially in risk reporting BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI is a plus
Cloud native experience and formal training or certification is a plus
Familiarity with data observability tools Grafana, Telemetry for business and tech flows monitoring
