As a Python professional in our Tech COE team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
The Tech CoE team is involved in the design, development, maintenance, migration and production support of various Intelligent Automation, Dashboard / Visualization and Data Transformation solutions using UiPath, Python, Tableau, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, Pega, Signavio, and similar tools. Typically, these will be various tactical solutions to aid process owner's automation needs, which could be a stand-alone tool or integrated with one of the mainstream systems / applications. The team follows Agile / Waterfall SDLC framework to deliver these solutions and works closely with various finance operations teams to increase process efficiency and provide error-free results with minimum user intervention through automation.

Job Responsibilities
- You will be part of a central team within GF&BM India and interface with internal clients / stakeholders (viz. Controllers, P&A, Business Management, and CFO-aligned groups) to understand the manual process, identify improvement & process simplification opportunities, run functional and technical assessment, translate the ideas into pragmatic use cases, own entire SDLC documentation (including BRD, SDD, etc.) and deliver tangible results on those use cases in partnership with developers
- Engage with stakeholders within the Lines of Business (LoB) to understand and assess requirements and arriving at the designated solutions
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing customer needs, and designing technical solutions
- Develop solutions primarily using Python and also other tools like UiPath, Alteryx, Xceptor, SharePoint, MS Access, VBA
- Work on change management and development enhancements and also provide production support to existing solutions developed by the team
- Investigate and resolve application functionality issues and provide first-level troubleshooting and support for any data related anomalies
- Ensure appropriate technical documentation is defined and maintained relative to solutions deployed
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 4-6 years of experience in Python development, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex python solutions for Banking and Finance team.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries/frameworks
- Should have extensive hands-on experience in Python scripting to automate Excel based reporting
- Should be in a position to develop solutions for Data mining and web crawlers for data collection using python.
- Should have exposure to databases & APIs
- Candidate must have working experience on VBA based Excel macro solution
