Software Engineer II
Cross Border Services enables banks in their capacity as Originating Institutions to boost cross-border payments service for consumers and corporates with a faster, better and smarter solution. A single connection provides reach to more than three billion bank accounts globally, and to both card and non-card endpoints including mobile wallets and cash-out locations in over 60 countries, supporting various payment types including person-to-person payments (P2P), business-to-person disbursements (B2P), business-to-business payments (B2B), and government-to-person disbursement (G2P). * Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions. * Defines requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practices. * Do you want to be a part of a collaborative team environment? * Are you motivated to stay on the cutting edge of digital payment technologies?
Role * Participate in requirements review/story elaborations and testing activities to deliver high-quality products and incremental value with every iteration. * Document test plans and acceptance criteria using Rally or similar life cycle management tools. * Develop test scripts and perform automated and manual exploratory testing to ensure software meets business and security requirements and established best practices. * Leverage available tools and frameworks to produce durable tests and avoid application fragility. * Follow through to ensure defects are reported and escalated appropriately.
All About You * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience. * Expertise knowledge using Selenium and any BDD framework (Cucumber, Jasmine or JBehave). * Intermediate Knowledge in REST API testing and knowledge of any API automation framework (Restassured, Spock or Karate). * Intermediate Knowledge of StormRunner or other performance testing tools. * Intermediate knowledge in core Java, Groovy, Node.js, and ReadyAPI. * Intermediate Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Experience with software development methodologies, particularly with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
