You will be working as Head of Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and will be reporting to Function Head - Finance and will be a part of Finance Services Business for Financial Planning & Analysis Services division, located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be responsible for leading the global digital business across the entire value chain. Ensuring profitable growth, relentless execution and support business-led collaboration in alignment with the Group and Business Area strategy. Driving digital innovation and serve as a cross-functional change agent across the Business Area or Business Division. Setting and implementing digital strategy by working with cross functional teams.
Your responsibilities
- Setting the vision, establishing effective partnership with key stakeholders and defining relevant operating models prioritization, resource allocation talent development and people management fostering the culture of innovation, high performance and high integrity
- Leading data science projects and Artificial or Machine learning products development aligned with business needs and delivering value
- Leading data acquisition and understanding efforts for engineering projects using various tools and techniques
- Developing and applying ML frameworks, AI, best practices deploying business specific or scalable enterprise-wide solutions. Overseeing data analysis and modeling outcomes, ensuring the alignment to the desired outcomes, deciding on next steps (deployment, process improvement recommendations, new projects, products, etc)
- Designing and deploying operating models, ensuring demand management and delivery model in place
- Acting as a subject matter expert, driving improvements and encouraging research initiatives, sharing knowledge and fostering learning culture
- Providing customer-oriented insights and solutions by understanding the business models, functional processes, data and value drivers
Your background
- Doctorate/Master's degree/Bachelor's in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
- Atleast 8 to 12 years data science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
- Minimum 10+ years of customer-facing, global project-delivery experience, including exposure to international business development and complex partnership structures. Ideally in the manufacturing and engineering or technology companies
- Atleast 10+ years of experience in people-management with a track record of building and developing successful data science teams
- Proven record to partner and influence C-level executives and delivering business value from developing and implementing advance analytics
- Expertise in deep learning and generative AI models with hands-on experience applying them in real-world scenarios Demonstrated current or recent coding, debugging and engineering skills in programming languages.Mining through data to develop observations and recommendations to improve business performance
- Knowledge on advancements and emerging research in foundation models. The cutting edge of current technologies, platforms, tools and methods committed to continuous learning
- Should be a strong team player, embrace challenges, and have a keen desire to learn, with a consistent track record of excellent performance
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills with particular emphasis on customers and senior stakeholders
