Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, QA Tester

• In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a QA/Database environment.
• You would be responsible for support, maintaining Java applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Java, Selenium, and Python.
• Create and execute automated test cases for API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java and Python for Selenium automation.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with web automation tools like Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Cypress for front-end testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
