Job Description.We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps practices, with a focus on containerization, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. You will be responsible for supporting our current projects on Azure DevOps, managing repositories stored in Bitbucket, and ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of our applications.Key Responsibilities:1.Develop and maintain Dockerfiles and containerization strategies to enable efficient deployment and scaling of applications.2.Manage version control systems (Git) to ensure code collaboration, branching, and merging.3.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.4.Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize the deployment workflow and ensure continuous integration and delivery.5.Evaluate, analyze, and review security vulnerabilities, including analyzing CVEs, and implement appropriate security measures.6.Work with Azure DevOps for project management, continuous integration, and release management.7.Administer and maintain repositories in Bitbucket, managing access controls, and ensuring code quality.8.Write shell scripts and PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.9.Hands-on experience with Node.js and Python to help in vulnerability assessments and code review.Additional Skills:Knowledge of OpenShift/Rancher, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.Qualifications:• Proven experience in DevOps practices, including Dockerfile creation and containerization.• Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems.• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.• Solid understanding of security best practices, vulnerability analysis, and CVE handling.• Familiarity with managing repositories in Bitbucket.• Scripting skills in shell and PowerShell for automation.• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Python is a plus.

- Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
- Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
- Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
- Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
- Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
- Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
- Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions
