We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Data Scientist to join our Data and Analytics team. You'll transform data into valuable insights for AXA Retail using a variety of cutting-edge machine learning and AI techniques. You'll communicate findings to business leaders and potentially shape major, real-world business decisions.
At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home with some travel to visit our London or Cardiff offices as required.
What you'll be doing:
Use machine learning and AI to solve business problems and develop new products
Deploy data science solutions and integrate them into the broader AXA data ecosystem
Keep up to date on the latest developments in data science and advise colleagues on the best methods in your particular area of expertise

What we're looking for:
Degree of 2:1 or above in a STEM subject
Understanding of quantitative techniques such as clustering, linear regression, and tree ensembles
An interest in cloud infrastructure and tools such as Azure and Databricks
Knowledge in data and data science languages such as Python and SQL
Demonstrated experience working as part of a cohesive and successful team
Some knowledge in PySpark would be beneficial but is not essential
