We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Data Scientist to join our Data and Analytics team. You'll transform data into valuable insights for AXA Retail using a variety of cutting-edge machine learning and AI techniques. You'll communicate findings to business leaders and potentially shape major, real-world business decisions.
At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home with some travel to visit our London or Cardiff offices as required.
What you'll be doing:- Use machine learning and AI to solve business problems and develop new products
- Deploy data science solutions and integrate them into the broader AXA data ecosystem
- Keep up to date on the latest developments in data science and advise colleagues on the best methods in your particular area of expertise

What we're looking for:- Degree of 2:1 or above in a STEM subject
- Understanding of quantitative techniques such as clustering, linear regression, and tree ensembles
- An interest in cloud infrastructure and tools such as Azure and Databricks
- Knowledge in data and data science languages such as Python and SQL
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a cohesive and successful team
- Some knowledge in PySpark would be beneficial but is not essential
