WHAT TO EXPECTWe are currently hiring of the position of a Powertrain Software Test Engineer. This role is responsible for the definition and execution of Testing Methods for harmonised control systems solutions, consisting of multiple interconnected components applied to Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for Powertrain..
You will be working on specialised passenger car programmes, overseeing the feeding of the FMA platform, and working on and with control systems software related to EDU and Battery, working on function and feature level software related tasks.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include: - Deliver Propulsion Control System Verification and Validation capability through corporate toolchain.
- Provide testing tools and methods best practice knowledge and training capability to the Propulsion Control System Domain.
- Delivery of Control Systems Testing within Powertrain across the range of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles
WHAT YOU'LL NEEDIn order to be considered for this position you will need to have experience in working with Powertrain and control systems for pure battery electric vehicles, as well as good relevant experience of working within a systems engineering environment.
- Control System Design Phase experience.
- Knowledge of ASPICE and SiL/HiL/PiL test properties.
- Experiencein the delivery,calibration, and optimisation of powertrain control systems at a "hands-on" level.
