As an IT Technician within our Store Expansions team on a 23-month fixed term contract, you will coordinate, administer, and troubleshoot all aspects of ALDI's store openings, store extensions and lane extensions across Great Britain and Ireland. Within this role, you will work closely with various teams across National IT, National Real Estate, Regions, and our external support partners to meet timelines for store openings. In addition, you will ensure compliance with all internal and external guidelines and regulations.
You will need to be an organised and versatile individual with an ability to understand common technical problems and assist remote engineers in their resolution. You will be a stakeholder in a number of concurrent projects and therefore attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy in your work is key whilst ensuring timely updates.

- Create and maintain project documentation for hardware installations and maintenance programs in conjunction with International IT, regions and external suppliers as needed
- Co-ordinate and direct consultants, contractors, vendors and suppliers as required
- Ability to provide support for the installation or replacement of hardware across our stores
- Liaise with project leads to adopt and action any changes to the setup of our Stores infrastructure on a timely basis
- Establish good working relationship with our engineers whilst ensuring quality of service
- You will also be required to carry out any other duties requested of you by your Direct Leader
About You- IT or Project Management qualification
- Experience within Store IT Operations
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Have a good overall technical ability with demonstrable experience
- Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills: communicate, articulate and engage
- Highly self-motivated and inquisitive
- Be logical and efficient, with a keen attention to detail
- Conscientious and hardworking with a 'can-do approach'
- Able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure
- Capable of building trust and relationships at all levels
