What you'll do
One of SAP's strategic customers has conducted a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest SAP HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
As IT Architecture Specialist, you'll support in the following areas:
• Software lifecycle release management and planning
• consult with the customer assisting them to articulate their outcome based requirements
• collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be available for efficient deployment.
• where require, innovate (architect, design, build a customer specific solution)
• oversee the deployment / rollout
As part of the architecture team you would also be a topic contributor for key parts of the technology stack contributing to the strategic view for your area.
What you bring
• Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management
• Expert level BASIS, HANA, SUSE knowledge (ideally including Pacemaker), preferred 2-3 years' experience minimum
• Good knowledge of hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes, preferred 1 year' experience minimum
• Experience in Planning Application, DB version upgrades, and maintenance leveraging SAP software lifecycle / maintenance planning (e.g., PAM, PPMS, maintenance planner)
• Ability to tackle technical challenges, analyze them, and identify existing solutions or architect new ones.
• Good presentation and documentation skills
