Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week on-site in Reading

Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Front End UI Contractor (Vue) to join their team for an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension. As a key member of the development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing a new greenfield tool, utilising your expertise in Vue, Typescript, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience for a new cloud-based tool

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable front-end components using Vue and Typescript

Implement UI design principles and best practices to ensure a consistent and user-friendly interface

Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the tool, ensuring integration with back-end services and cloud infrastructure

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Vue and cloud technologies to continuously improve the tool's performance and functionality

Skills:

Proven experience as a Front End UI Developer with a strong focus on Vue and Typescript

Excellent understanding of UI design principles and best practices

Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS

HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Exposure to ASP.NET and API back-end development is highly beneficial
