Cloud Services Engineer

Location: Field based – occasional site visits

Competitive Salary dependant on experience + car allowance

Fantastic Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30

The task at hand:

We are looking for a Cloud Services Engineer who will be responsible for deploying and supporting UC solutions on behalf of the Technical Operations Team at Onecom to the highest standard. You will be required to complete installation and upgrade projects for our customers, and required to support the Tier 3 Service Desk, advising customers on complex queries, and remotely diagnosing escalated faults through to resolution.

You'll be great in this role if you have:

Technical accreditation required for:

Mitel MiVoice Business

Mitel MiCollab

Mitel Contact Centre

Mitel MiVoice Border Gateway

Ability to achieve and maintain UC Engineering Accreditation at Professional level in the following technology areas:

Voice Communications

UC & Collaboration

Contact Centre

Cloud

Working knowledge of networking technologies is essential, SDWAN desirable

Experience in working with SIP and diagnostic tools

VMware and Hyper-V knowledge desirable

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required

Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy

What you’ll be busy doing:

Complete installation of UC systems and associated applications

On-going support of UC solutions

Undertake remote surveys and audits

Provide telephone support and remote diagnostics to customers

Use of supplier portals to raise and escalate customers’ support queries through to completion

Maintain and update all relevant installation and maintenance documentation and service support tickets

Ensure defined Change Management Process is followed

Deal with any technical escalations that are passed over from the Tier 2 Support Desk and manage outstanding service issues through to prompt resolution

Participate in a 24 hour call out rota
