Network Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Are you a skilled and experienced Network Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the city of Dublin? We are seeking a qualified professional to join our client's team on a 6-month contract basis for a firewall migration project. If you have expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, along with a minimum CCNP certification, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and lead the migration of firewalls as part of a strategic project.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

Provide technical support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and security appliances.

Implement and maintain network security protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum CCNP certification required.

Proven experience with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.

Strong understanding of firewall migration processes and best practices.

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Experience:

Previous involvement in firewall migration projects.

Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools.

Contract Duration:

6 months (with the possibility of extension based on project requirements).
