Remote Support Engineer

Location: Carlisle

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £33,000

Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday

NXT are working with a well-established IT business in Carlisle as we recruit for a Remote IT Support Engineer to join their team. For over two decades this company has been providing specialist services to a variety of sectors within the North West of England and South West Scotland.

The skills and experience:

* Technical background with a minimum of 2-year’s experience

* Communication skills to explain issues to the customer

* Eye for detail

* Minimum of 2 year’s experience in helpdesk support

* Troubleshooting complex IT issues

* Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Customer focused

Applicants will need the technical skills as well as a knowledge in the following areas:

* Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop/Office knowledge

* Active Directory

* Office 365 and Exchange Administration

* Networking (Switches/Firewalls/Routers/WIFI)

* Hyper-V

* SharePoint

* MDM - Mobile Device Management

* ITIL

* Data Backup & Recovery Methods
