As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering impactful software delivery projects that contribute to the technological advancements.
Your Responsibilities:
As part of the innovative team, you will:
Ensure Project Success: Deliver projects to time, budget, and quality, producing detailed project plans and managing project budgets and resources.
Build Strong Relationships: Liaise with business and IT colleagues, fostering strong working relationships to achieve effective outcomes.
Implement Governance: Apply project governance in line with organizational standards, ensuring baseline management products are approved by Project Boards.
Provide Regular Reports: Deliver regular project reports to senior management, showcasing progress against milestones, expenditure, and benefits realization.
Coordinate and Monitor: Work closely with project teams, assurance teams, and suppliers to coordinate and monitor progress at all stages of a project.
Financial Management: Forecast, monitor, and manage commitments and expenditure for each project, advising on any deviations from the plan.
Change Management: Effectively manage scope change, ensuring understanding of its impact on the delivered product and potential benefits.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders to review business processes and recommend amendments to support clear process models for technology projects.
The right candidate will have proven project management experience delivering software projects such as web, COTS, and bespoke. You will also have strong stakeholder management skills and be used to working to budgets and deadlines. Any project management qualifications are hugely beneficial.
With the office based in Swindon, you can expect to visit the office twice a week. There is also a lot of flexibility around working hours, supporting your work/life balance and allowing you to tailor to your needs.
In terms of package on offer, you can expect a salary of up to £49,500 plus a range of other great benefits.
