Job Title: Change Manager
Duration: 18 months, possibility of permanent in the future
Location: WFH/Worthing
Salary: circa £75000 per annum plus 5% performance bonus
My client is a private utility company responsible for the public wastewater collection and treatment in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent, and for the public water supply and distribution in approximately half of this area. They are currently looking for a Change Manager on an 18-month contract based from home with once to twice per week requirement in the Worthing office.
Key Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the key change impacts of initiatives within the specific business area are understood with a clear baseline.
To ensure that plans are put in place to enable fast and effective adoption of the changes in ways of working driven by the respective initiative to maximise benefits.
To understand the scale and locations of change in respective business areas and to manage change loads in to respective teams
To build change management capability within each business areaKey Responsibilities:
Understand the current landscape within the business area and how the range of initiatives come together to impact processes and staff
Conduct and coach line managers in change impact assessments, and coach line managers on such assessments, to support
Conduct and coach line managers in business readiness activities to ensure changes land well avoiding un-intended consequences
Develop plans with workstream leads that address effective deployment of initiatives and benefits delivery
Design and deliver manager or team coaching and training in relation to specific initiatives
Identify with workstream leads and business owners where specific and additional training is required
Monitor the effectiveness of the change programmes and course correct as required
Report on progress on developments, issues and risks in respect to business change
Work collaboratively with the change team lead in SW to ensure a level of consistency in tools and ways workingFor Team Lead
Select and adopt change management methods and tools for wider use working collaboratively with other change managers
