Are you a Software Developer with expertise in Java and experience with AWS?
A fantastic opportunity has come available to join the fast-paced Agile team at a software consultancy working on high level security government projects, think the MI5 of software development!
You will be a Software Developer who has strong, commercial experience with Java and it's related technologies, and good exposure to AWS and how it integrates with software development.
You will be working fully remote but if you are someone who prefers to go into the office you can do so, with offices based across the UK in locations like London, Bristol and Manchester, the choice is yours and with flexible working hours you will have freedom in when and where you work.
Due to the nature of the work all candidates will need to be SC clearable and have held a UK passport for 5 years or more, with no other live passports.

£50-70k salary depending on experience.

Strong commercial Java experience and use of it's related technologies.
Good expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
Understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Experience working with version control systems like Git.What you'll be doing:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions including design, development and testing.
Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.
Utilising tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, to help monitor and ensure software quality and security.
Full Software Lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery; training and support and software lifecycle and maintenance.
