Job DescriptionPragmatic Play is looking to hire an experienced leader to lead a team of talented Quality Assurance (QA) engineers. You will be responsible for
defining QA strategy, approach, and execution in software product development projects.You will also develop, implement, and revise quality standards, tools, and methods as per business needs.
Qualifications:We are looking for an experienced
Manager - QA/Lead-QA with BTech/BE/MCA or any related field.
Who you are-- 8-10+ years of total experience, with complete years of experience in Quality and 5+ years of experience in People management
- Experience managing Manual testing, SaaS production monitoring, production incident response and debugging.
- Having experience into Automation would be added advantage.
- Understanding of both front-end and Back-end testing environment
- Ability to work in an iterative, agile development environment.
- Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and industry recognized Best Practices.
- Experience setting up test plans, test environments and working on the entire QA lifecycle from project kick-off to release.
- Experience with any one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience on Jira and Test case Management tools like X-ray.
- Should be well-versed on QA process and Release management process.
- Should be strong on the communication and be bold & clear while communicating with stakeholders if any process deviation happens.
- Should work as Techno Manager where he/she should also work on games testing and identify gaps.
- Should have knowledge on Deployment process using Jenkins.
As Manager-QA/Lead-QA you will be:- Responsible for defining QA strategy, approach and execution in development projects.
- Responsible for leading and directing the QA team.
- Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.
- Communicate with all the key stakeholders to ensure the QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing
- Possess excellent knowledge of risk management, risk identification and risk-based testing
- Direct the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery.
- Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
- Responsible for resource assignments, recruiting, SQA assessments, training and performance review.
- Create an environment that allows for individual growth, solutions flexibility and innovation.
- Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in software engineering practices across engineering teams
- Collaborating with key stake holders in Engineering, DevOps, Tech Support & Product.
- Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
- Hire, retain and develop top-tier QA and test focused engineers
